Let's Get Moving is a project managed by Merseytravel working in partnership with the five Merseyside local authorities.
Let's Get Moving offers the following services.
(a) Neighbourbood Travel Teams (NTT) are a team of advisors who work on a one-to-one basis with local residents offering travel advice, support, guidance, travel buddying and issue public transport tickets. The teams also refer residents to other agencies who can help them with their needs.
(b) WorkWise offers:
(i) A Scooter Commuter Scheme - you can rent a scooter for six months, receive driver safety training and protective clothing;
(ii) WorkWise Wheels - you can borrow a bicycle if it is difficult to get to work on public transport
(iii) Solo, Trio (or Railpass tickets) are issued to the five NTTs for people who have been unemployed for a long time, making sure that the first month or weeks travel costs are not a barrier to getting to your new job
