The third Local Transport Plan will play a key role in helping Merseyside achieve its vision of becoming a thriving international city region by 2030.
The new Liverpool City Region clearly links transport into wider priorities, such as improving Merseyside's health, economy and social wellbeing. Transport also has an important role to play in supporting the work of the Local Strategic Partnerships.
The Partnership started its consultation with stakeholders at the Partnership's breakfast briefing on 3rd March, for more info click here. In addition a LTP consultation event was held with the public on 16th March, click here for the presentations. You can also see the evidence base that supports our work so far by clicking here.
Thank you if you took part in this consultation which ended on 12th April. This looked at how you would like to see local transport improve in the long term. Although the consultation has now closed you can still view our public and stakeholder documents for information on the 'Challenges & Opportunties' we face.
We are now collating all the responses and will use these to look in detail at how we can begin to put these ideas into practice in the immediate future
Once we have worked these ideas up we will be conducting a 12 week consultation in September, asking for your views on these preferred options
Please check the website towards the middle of September for details of this consultation and we look forward to your input then.
