The Merseyside Transport Partnership (MTP) held its inaugural Employers Network Forum on 1st February 2012.
The Forum gathered together organisations interested in boosting levels of sustainable transport to their workplace(s).

Huw Jenkins gave a presentation on the Merseyside Local Sustainable Transport Fund and the opportunities it will bring. Merseyside has been successful in securing funding through the Key Component Bid and have submitted its Major bid business case to Government in December 2011.

Part of the St Helens ‘Get Yourself Lively Walking' scheme, managed and supported by the Health Improvement Team. The aim of the scheme is to promote the benefits of walking across St Helens through a programme of volunteer led health walks.
