Project Merseyfreight, skills and training

The LCR freight partnership is proud to present a new educational package for 14-16 year olds. Not only is this designed for students to fully understand the process that freight takes on a global scale but it is to also highlight the potential careers that can be found in the sector. Many young people believe freight and logistics revolve around men driving lorries from A to B but Project Merseyfreight focuses on all the other jobs that gets your ipods and clothes from China or building materials from North America. Project Merseyfreight consists on a structured lesson plan that has been devised to allow students to learn and think on their feet. Through online games and career leaflet information, students will be given the opportunity to explore the possible careers that they may never have thought existed.

If you think that Project Merseyfreight could be beneficial to your school or learning environment please contact 0151 330 1294 or click here.

Please note this will be a free service for all that wish to sign up.
