Ferries
The River Mersey is famous around the world and you can take a ferry across the Mersey (singing is optional), with a direct cross-river service operating all day, seven days a week, and taking as little as 10 minutes between the Pier Head and Seacombe.
Fares are inexpensive with joint bus, train and ferry tickets available.

If you are travelling further afield, shipping routes stretch to the Isle of Man, Dublin and Belfast with booking services at the Tourist Information Centres in the City centre.
