Employers Network

Implementing a travel action plan can help you address several transport issues: commuting, business travel, fleet management, business deliveries and transport contracts.

Reducing the number of people who drive to work alone is good for business:

The Employers Network offers Merseyside businesses and organisations a range of exciting new tools and initiatives for FREE to support organisation's travel needs.
The Network is being funded through the Department of Transport's Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF). The Merseyside Transport Partnership has been successful in winning £4.8m, with the prospect of an additional £21.7m being awarded in summer 2012. LSTF will fund several schemes, including supporting employers to offer sustainable transport options for current and prospective staff until March 2015. A number of infrastructure improvements such as cycle lanes and improving pedestrian access in Merseyside will complement the work of the Employers Network & overcome some current barriers to employment.
