Many of us don't stop to think about our car journeys.  It can be easy to get into the habit of using our car for every trip we make without considering the mounting costs, but also the alternatives available to address these increases.  Just taking a minute to think of HOW you use your car could be well worth it.

For example, by changing just one or two journeys a week to a more sustainable mode you could save money, and also maybe improve your health and wellbeing too.  You could also consider car sharing - either offering or seeking a lift.  Or ‘smarter driving' - following some simple tips to modify the way you drive can result in longer distances between needing to fill up.

The rising costs of driving make it essential to have a common sense approach to our driving habits, and to consider alternatives where feasible.
