There are tickets available to suit all sorts of journey types and combinations, from joint bus, train and ferry tickets, to season passes.

For local bus journeys, the easiest option is to simply buy a ticket as you board. Typical single fares range from 90p to £2.

For local rail journeys, tickets should be bought at the station when the ticket office is open.

Pre-paid tickets, season tickets and travel passes can be bought on the Merseyside bus and rail network and on the national rail network.
